How To Cope with a Divorce – While Pregnant
The only thing more stressful than getting a divorce? Getting a divorce while eight months pregnant. Sure, duking it out with your ex over property and who gets the dog is rough, but try doing it while contending with Braxton Hicks contractions. It’s not for the faint of heart.
That was a reality for writer Debra Rogers, a HuffPost blogger and the author of He Did You A Favor. Below, Rogers tells us more of her story and shares with us the handful of things that made the situation a little less stressful.

Kirkus Reviews
“[Debra’s] ability to get through what may be many women’s worst nightmare may make it easy for readers to trust her advice, and here, she dispenses it with a sassy sense of humor, focusing on building her readers up rather than lecturing them about past mistakes. The author strikes a balance between offering women no-nonsense rules to live by and helping them figure out their own personal requirements. She encourages women to figure out exactly what they want out of a relationship, while also emphasizing the importance of being open-minded. A snappy, sensible guide to relationships.”

Just Reviews (Fran Lewis). 5 stars and 5 Golden Relationships
For anyone who has ever experienced getting dumped, ditched and feels like falling in a hole: STOP RIGHT THERE! PICK UP THIS BOOK: DUST Yourself OFF AND READ! YOU WON’T BE SORRY!
This book is great for young teens that are just starting to date to help them deal with their first relationship and breakup. It is great for adults who are experiencing divorce, separation or boyfriend troubles. It is even great for men who might learn something about how the other half feels and try and transfer some of what the author has shared and pretend they were the one dumped and see how it feels. This is great. http://tillie49.wordpress.com/2014/11/03/he-did-you-a-favor/

Lilac Wolf and Stuff – 5 star review
I usually hate self-help books. Full of platitudes and BS. This book is entertaining and I can see where it actually would be useful. So way to go, Debra! …So if you know anyone who is in that place, this book along with your unwavering friendship are just what she needs.

The author, Debra Rogers wrote a must read for anyone going through a break up, or has gone through one or a woman who just wants to become a better, more powerful person. This is one of the best “self help” books I’ve ever read. Ms. Rogers, I applaud you.

Celtic Lady’s Reviews – 5 star review
These are lessons we all need to learn, so light some candles, pour a glass of wine (or scotch, or milk, or whatever fits your fancy) and crack open Debra Rogers’ book. Written with class and eloquence, this book also has enough hilarity to make you laugh so hard you’ll forget what (or whom) you were sad about in the first place.
This isn’t the end, it’s just a new beginning. So, what are you waiting for? Quit obsessing and missing him, start working toward a better you. Isn’t it time you realize that really, He Did You A Favor?

I wish I had this book when I was younger and going through relationships and breakups. It would have been a wonderful tool and a great help to get through those moments of thinking I wasn’t good enough or that there was something wrong with me.
I would recommend this book to any woman who has recently ended a relationship and to any young woman who is in a non-serious relationship or just starting to look for “the one.”

This book is packed with inspirations, motivation, and step-by-step tips to guide you through this important time in your life. Debra Rogers brilliantly shares her own stories, and those of other women, to help you work through all the stages of breakup recovery.
All in all, I am so glad I have this because as a parent who is dealing with teen girls, I know I’ll be rereading it again and again and even handing this to them as they go through it when it comes.
